Electrician – Based out of Wiltshire covering BA12, BA14, SN12 Full Time 12 Months Fixed Contract – 40 hours per week (8-5) Salary: £40,500 p/a + company van & fuel card Seeking a motivated team player passionate about making a positive impact on lives. Your Responsibilities: * Perform electrical works to high standards, adhering to training, BS7671, and building regulations * Undertake Electrical test and inspection * Reactive repairs and fault-finding * Periodic testing * Full domestic electrical rewiring * Carry out Planned and Reactive Maintenance tasks including PAT, Electrical Condition Reports (fixed wiring), Emergency Lighting testing and Fire Alarm Testing * Involvement in the maintenance of UPS, Generators and servicing including load tests * Ensure compliance with safety, health guidelines, and company policies * Maintain productivity and quality while delivering effective and efficient service * Follow instructions, meet deadlines, and ensure first-time fixes for customer satisfaction * Use IT systems and PDAs to improve performance and communication The successful candidate will have: * REQUIRED: City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent (Apply online only) * 18th Edition Electrical Regulations * NVQ 3 in electrical installation * AM2 Certificate * A strong background in social housing maintenance contracts (responsive, void, planned) * 2 – 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment * Full UK driving licence * Own tools for the job Benefits of working with our client: * Competitive salary * 27 holidays plus bank holidays * 2 paid gifted days; one for your birthday and one over Christmas * Buy/sell up to 1 week’s holiday * Life assurance * Flexible working opportunities – giving you flexibility on how long, where and when you work to support better customer service and promote a work/life balance. * Competitive 13% pension (you pay 4%, we pay 9%) * Cycle to work scheme If you have any questions, contact Slava (property services recruitment consultant) anytime via the details below
