The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a growing team delivering refurbishment and maintenance works across occupied social housing properties throughout the Solent and West Sussex region. The role will focus primarily on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects, with strong skills in carpentry and plumbing required. You will also be expected to carry out a range of secondary trades to complete works to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works within occupied social housing
  • Undertake core carpentry and plumbing works
  • Complete secondary works including:
    • Patch plastering
    • Decorating
    • Tiling
  • Work respectfully and professionally within residents' homes
  • Complete works efficiently and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate job records using a company PDA
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety and quality standards
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with residents and clients

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Proven experience working as a Multi Trade Operative
  • Strong carpentry and plumbing skills
  • Experience working on kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Competent secondary trade skills across plastering, decorating and tiling
  • Previous experience working within social housing or occupied properties
  • A professional and customer-focused approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
