Please note you must have a blue CSCS card and NVQ Level in carpentry/joinery to be considered for this role. Works based all on one site. A leader in the provision of fire protection services and private residential sector projects is looking for experienced door installers to join their team. These are non fire rated doors. You will be working on a domestic project, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works to existing doors and frames. There is a potential for 2 months more work if the project goes well and the client is happy with your work.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least two years’ experience in carpentry
- A strong background in carpentry and joinery
- Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance
- NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
- Experience installing doors and frames
- Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
Roles and responsibilities:
- Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing doors
- Complete works in line with the manufacturer’s specification
- Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
- Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
- Liaise with customers and members of the general public
