The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Fire Risk Assessors to work on behalf of a leading national fire safety contractor and consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Fire Risk Assessors to join a growing organisation delivering fire safety and compliance services across a wide range of residential and commercial properties. The role will primarily involve completing Type 1 and Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments, with the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of buildings and clients including social housing providers. Depending on the experience level and technical knowledge of the individual, the portfolio of buildings will include single occupancy buildings through to larger complex HRBs.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing high-quality Type 1 and Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments
- Carrying out thorough inspections of residential and commercial buildings
- Identifying fire safety risks, deficiencies and areas of non-compliance
- Producing clear, accurate and detailed FRA reports
- Providing practical recommendations and remedial actions
- Liaising with clients, building managers and other stakeholders
- Working in accordance with relevant fire safety legislation, guidance and industry best practice
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring assessments are completed to a high standard
About You
We’re interested in speaking with Fire Risk Assessors at a range of experience levels, particularly those with:
- Previous experience completing Fire Risk Assessments
- Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance
- Experience with Type 1 and/or Type 3 assessments
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills
- A professional and methodical approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Relevant fire safety qualifications or professional memberships
