Passive Fire Site Manager – Social Housing Tower Block (Temp) Location: Bradford Day Rate: £240 – £250 Per Day The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Passive Fire Site Manager to join a well-established fire protection contractor on a two-month contract based at a social housing tower block in Bradford. The role requires an immediate start and involves overseeing fire door and fire stopping works across an occupied residential tower block, ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required quality standards. The Role As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing day-to-day site operations at a social housing tower block in Bradford, managing fire door and fire stopping works across the building. You will assist the Project Manager as required and act as the key point of contact on site for operatives, subcontractors and clients throughout the contract. Key Responsibilities * Oversee day-to-day delivery of fire door and fire stopping works across an occupied social housing tower block * Carry out initial project briefs and produce short-term schedules of works based on the master programme * Collate drawings, specifications and client information to plan works appropriately on site * Identify material requirements and liaise with the office to ensure supplies are delivered in good condition * Manage labour and subcontractors, organising workflow and delegating tasks effectively * Monitor productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching to site teams * Carry out weekly stock takes and produce weekly progress reports for the line manager * Implement and maintain HSEQ systems across the site * Ensure all operatives have appropriate PPE and that signage is correctly displayed at all times * Maintain a safe environment for tenants, residents and members of the public throughout * Support the delivery team with daily administrative tasks as required * Liaise with clients professionally and attend meetings as required * Ensure all works are completed in line with passive fire compliance standards and company procedures What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a Site Manager within passive fire protection — fire doors and fire stopping essential * Experience working within occupied social housing environments — essential * Experience working on tower blocks or high-rise residential buildings — desirable * SMSTS — required * CSCS Card — required * First Aid — required * Fire Warden — required * Asbestos Awareness — required * Full UK Driving Licence — required * Strong communication, organisational and client-facing skills What's On Offer * £240 – £250 per day * Two month contract with an immediate start * Varied fire door and fire stopping works across a social housing tower block in Bradford
