Our client is a small Supported Housing charity for Veterans. The charity has embarked on a Change Programme across its operations so it is an exciting time to join the business.
As a Property Services Co-ordinator you will provide support across the Tenancy services directorate and consists of the following main areas:
- Repairs
- Scheduling
- Compliance
- Data gathering and capturing supporting colleagues in all areas of both planned maintenance and responsive operations.
This role is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administration surrounding the repairs, services, compliance works and other technical projects. Contribute to the effective completion of works to maximise the use of properties, ensuring that all data is efficiently captured.
Act as the main point of contact for repairs administration for all customers both internally and externally. Proactively manage repairs to ensure that works are completed within targets and residents are kept informed. Work with internal teams to ensure workflows and work orders on the system are working effectively.
Actively participate in working groups and act as the lead for Property Services in “getting the process right.” Responsibilities include arranging appointments, following up, closing jobs, and invoicing. End-to-end repairs management, including first line invoice processing. Contribute to repairs monitoring, taking appropriate action to ensure that expenditure is within budget and tracked.
Work closely with all departments and colleagues to ensure a seamless first-class service for residents.
Skills and experience:
- Prior experience of delivering repairs and maintenance services
- Working with multiple agencies/organisations to resolve problems
- An understanding of property maintenance issues
- Accountable for own work and seeing cases through to completion
