Overview
This role is with a client based in London with a range of businesses including a luxury retail brand, a charity and a Private Museum with a collection of almost 2000 tea-related objects. The collection reflects tea cultures from Europe, Asia and the Americas and spans over a thousand years of history.
The museum requires a Curator to manage and develop all aspects of the museum’s collections, exhibitions and related projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the museum’s collections by acquiring, researching, preserving, and displaying objects
- Plan and organize exhibitions
- Secure new items for the collection
- Arrange conservation and restoration
- Build relationships with third parties
- Contribute to various projects for the museum
