Our client is a fast-growing specialist recruitment group operating across Technology and Energy. They work with high-quality clients and contractors across the UK and are known for their professional, people-first approach.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their team. They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our Financial Controller across all aspects of the finance function. This is a varied role that offers exposure to the full accounting cycle through to Trial Balance, while providing valuable support with management accounting, monthly reporting and continuous process improvement.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys taking ownership, is keen to develop their finance career and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
This is an Office based role in Bromley BR1 (Working 25 hours a week)
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and payment of supplier invoices
- Input cash received
- Some bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Completion of some HMRC returns – Employers Intermediary return and some VAT work.
- Assistance with management accounts (Prepayments/Accruals/sundry journals)
- Possibly some payroll but this is a bonus not an essential
- We need someone who can work as part of a small team and is able to pick up other work as required (including cover for contractor payroll coordinator)
Good knowledge of excel is essential.
This is a friendly team and they want this person to be a team player who brings some energy to the team.
