I'm recruiting for an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on the National Grid framework. This role is based on a substation project in Swansea and offers a 6‑month CIS contract with strong potential for extension.
The Role
You will oversee the delivery of M&E works on-site, ensuring full compliance with National Grid procedures, safety standards, and permit systems. This is a key role requiring strong coordination, supervision, and safety leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervising M&E packages and daily site operations
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring all work is delivered in line with National Grid safety protocols
- Managing permits, RAMS, and all site documentation
- Liaising with engineers and the wider project team
- Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
Requirements (Essential)
- Valid National Grid Person's Ticket (NGP)
- Proven experience delivering M&E works on National Grid or similar regulated power frameworks
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Strong understanding of high‑voltage and safety-critical environments
- First Aid (advantageous)
- Ability to manage site teams and maintain a compliant, productive environment
