We are currently recruiting for an Operations Delivery Manager to support delivery across key electricity connection projects within a DNO, covering up to 11kV underground and 33kV overhead line (OHL) works. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for operational performance across civils, reinstatement, and OHL functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the operational lead across multi‑disciplinary delivery teams
  • Oversee civils, reinstatement, and OHL departments, with direct line management of relevant managers
  • Ensure efficient, safe, and commercially viable project delivery
  • Drive performance, decision‑making, and continuous improvement across operations
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across projects and business functions

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior operational role within utilities, ideally electricity connections
  • Strong background in delivery of underground (up to 11kV) and/or OHL (33kV) projects
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, managing teams and driving outcomes
  • Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project economics
  • Confident decision‑maker with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Location & Working Pattern

  • Split between Reading and West London offices
  • Flexible working arrangements may be available

Package

  • Permanent: Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
  • Contract: Day rate negotiable, Outside IR35 (depending on experience)
