QC Inspector

Quality Inspector – Contract Role

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to support operations across multiple fabrication and coating projects. This hands‑on role focuses on inspection and documentation review. The role is based primarily site‑based in Stoke‑on‑Trent with travel to Sheffield, Hull, and Birmingham.

Rate: £50 per hour (Ltd). Contract: Ongoing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections across fabrication, painting, and NDT processes.
• Review and comment on subcontractor and client documentation including ITPs, hydrotest procedures, WPS/PQRs, painting & NDE procedures, PMI, pickle & passivation procedures.
• Respond to client comments and ensure documentation is accurate and well‑organised.
• Perform site inspections across Stoke‑on‑Trent and surrounding areas.
• Strong working knowledge of NDT, fabrication, and painting/coatings.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation and supplier submissions.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to travel for site inspections as required.
