Site based Project Manager - Mechanical bias
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day mechanical installation works across district heating networks and energy centres.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site activities to maintain progress and quality.
- Ensure compliance with CDM, RAMS, and all site health & safety requirements.
- Review drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure works meet design standards.
- Monitor quality, sign off inspections, and support testing and commissioning.
- Maintain site records, report progress, and support commercial teams with variations and productivity tracking.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering mechanical works on district heating, energy centres, plantrooms, or major MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of LTHW systems, pipework, pumps, boilers/CHP/heat pumps, and distribution networks.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, lead site teams, and coordinate multi‑disciplinary works.
- Strong understanding of H&S, quality control, and construction sequencing.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) - desirable.
- SMSTS, CSCS Manager's Card, First Aid - preferred.
