About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Controller with a strong background in engineering or construction to aour clients dynamic team in Inverness. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the clients large-scale projects by managing contract costs, estimating costs to completion, and supporting commercial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control contract costs across multiple engineering and construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost forecasts and estimates to completion.
- Support the commercial team in managing budgets, variations, and financial risk.
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers and quantity surveyors to ensure cost efficiency.
- Provide commercial administration support on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cost control within the engineering or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of commercial administration and financial reporting.
- Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally in infrastructure or industrial construction.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel.
