Location: Murton, County Durham (Predominantly Site-Based)
Rate: £550/day Inside IR35

The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support the delivery of a major EPC infrastructure project based in Murton, County Durham.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer contractual obligations under an amended FIDIC EPC 2017 contract.
- Provide contractual and commercial support to project delivery teams.
- Manage contract correspondence, notifications, change control, variations and claims.
- Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution activities.
- Ensure contractual compliance throughout project execution.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients and supply chain partners on contractual matters.
- Provide strategic contractual advice to support project objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Contract Management within engineering, infrastructure, utilities, energy or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC EPC contracts, particularly FIDIC EPC 2017.
- Good understanding of NEC contracts.
- Experience managing contractual risk, claims, variations and change control processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a site-based project environment.
- Previous experience on major EPC or infrastructure projects.
Desirable
- Quantity Surveying background.
- Experience within Power, Utilities, Transmission & Distribution or Energy sectors.
- Significant experience working on large-scale engineering and infrastructure projects.
