We are recruiting an experienced Civils Operative to support a long-term National Grid substation new-build in Rotherham. This is a stable contract offering up to 4 years of continuous work on a major UK infrastructure project.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general civils and groundworks on a new-build substation
- Supervise and coordinate lifting operations (Lifting Supervisor)
- Oversee temporary works in line with approved designs (TWS)
- Work safely within a live National Grid environment
- Ensure compliance with RAMS, permits, National Grid procedures, and HSG47
Essential Requirements
- Strong civils / groundworks background
- Lifting Supervisor ticket
- Temporary Works Supervisor ticket
- National Grid Competent Person

- Previous experience on National Grid or utilities projects
