We have a current opportunity for a Senior Planner on a contract basis. The position will be based in Andover.

- One of our clients is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the development, management, and coordination of project programmes working across their portfolio (GSP and energy projects).
- 6‑month initial contract
- Outside IR35
- Office based
The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to build accurate programmes, update progress, highlight risks, and support NEC compliant change processes. This is a hands-on planning role focused on creating and maintaining high-quality schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring project teams have clear and reliable programme information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Development & Management – develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
- NEC Programme Requirements – ensure programmes comply with NEC obligations, including scheduling & project coordination – perform critical path and float analysis to identify constraints and risks.
- Reporting & Communication – produce clear programme reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders.
Experience:
- Extensive P6 knowledge
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Senior Planner (min 10 years Planning experience)
- Experience working with energy sectors on high value infrastructure projects
