Nursery Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within the nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality childcare and support to children aged 0-5 years.
• Create engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child\’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment and uphold nursery standards.
• Drive initiatives that support children\’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Maintain accurate records of children\’s progress and development in accordance with nursery policies.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early childhood education.

Experience

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
• Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
• A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to ongoing professional development.
