We're currently supporting a long‑term project in Oxfordshire, and our client is looking to bring several Electrical Technicians on board. These roles are offered on a contract basis and form part of a multi‑year technical installation programme.

Location: Oxfordshire

Rate: £30 - £35 p/h (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)

Duration: Initial 6‑month contract with strong long‑term potential

Key Requirements:

  • ONC or City & Guilds Level 2 / GNVQ in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Strong experience in testing, fault‑finding and calibration of electrical systems
  • Good understanding of electrical safety practices for LV and HV low‑power circuits and devices
  • Hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning and fault‑finding of electrical systems, including:
    • Control racks
    • Interconnecting wiring
    • Field equipment
    • Cable containment systems
  • Skilled in electrical wiring for panels and equipment enclosures
  • Competent in light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks such as:
    • Soldering
    • Crimping
    • Cable assembly
    • Rack wiring
