An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer - Integration to join the Engineering department on a contract basis.

About the role

Lead the development of defined technical areas or subsystems within a programme, providing technical expertise and mentoring to junior engineers.

What you will do

  • Own delivery of significant work packages or subsystems within a project.
  • Develop and validate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Mentor and support Engineers within the team.
  • Lead problem-solving and root-cause investigations.
  • Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration and coherence.
  • Provide input to project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Implement and evolve the Integration Plan; author/update ICDs and interface tests.
  • Lead bring‑up sessions & design reviews.
  • Support readiness reviews (PDR/CDR/PRR) with integration evidence.

About you

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) engineer with adequate experience.
  • Proven experience in system or component-level design.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of configuration, safety, and quality systems.
  • Experience in leading small teams or technical tasks.
