We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy in the water sector who are looking to engage an experienced Senior Hydraulics Engineer on an initial 4.5-month contract. Working within a specialist water team, you will provide technical expertise across water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supporting hydraulic design, modelling, analysis and optimisation activities from concept through to delivery.
Key Experience Required:
- Strong background within the UK water and wastewater sector
- Hydraulic modelling and network flow analysis experience
- Surge analysis / water hammer studies
- HADES experience
- Thermofluids knowledge
- Understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations
- Ability to produce technical calculations, reports and engineering deliverables
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Previous consultancy experience desirable
