Role Overview:
We are recruiting for an experienced SCO91-qualified Mains Layer to deliver a 1-mile installation of fire water mains at the Bacton Gas Terminal. This is a high-value contract requiring precision, safety, and expertise in Electro Fusion or Butt Fusion welding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay and install 1 mile of fire water mains in accordance with SCO91 procedures.
- Carry out Electro Fusion and/or Butt Fusion welding to industry standards.
- Ensure all work complies with gas safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to meet project milestones.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Valid SCO91 certification (National Gas)
- Extensive experience in Electro Fusion or Butt Fusion welding.
- Demonstrable experience laying mains on gas infrastructure projects.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Flexibility to work up to 7 days a week, if you desire.
