We are currently recruiting for an Operations Delivery Manager to support delivery across key electricity connection projects within a DNO, covering up to 11kV underground and 33kV overhead line (OHL) works. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for operational performance across civils, reinstatement, and OHL functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the operational lead across multi-disciplinary delivery teams
- Oversee civils, reinstatement, and OHL departments, with direct line management of relevant managers
- Ensure efficient, safe, and commercially viable project delivery
- Drive performance, decision-making, and continuous improvement across operations
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across projects and business functions
About You
- Proven experience in a senior operational role within utilities, ideally electricity connections
- Strong background in delivery of underground (up to 11kV) and/or OHL (33kV) projects
- Demonstrable leadership experience, managing teams and driving outcomes
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project economics
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Location & Working Pattern
Split between Reading and West London offices. Flexible working arrangements may be available.
Package
Permanent: Competitive salary (dependent on experience). Contract: Day rate negotiable, Outside IR35 (depending on experience).
