This is a high-impact Programme Manager role where you will drive multiple new product development projects & programmes from concept through to market launch. This Programme Manager role is based onsite five days a week near their Stevenage Manufacturing HQ, working closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams, with regular exposure to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities of Programme Manager- Lead multiple new product development programmes across the full product lifecycle
- Oversee project planning, governance, risk management, and financial performance
- Deliver programmes within a structured NPD or stage-gate environment
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and commercial functions
- Provide clear and consistent programme updates to senior stakeholders
- Drive process improvement across project delivery, governance, and reporting
- Ensure alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and commercial targets
- Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- Proven experience managing complex programmes or large-scale engineering or NPD projects
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience
- Ability to influence at all levels without direct authority
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and delivery capability
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and risk
- Experience with stage-gate, product lifecycle management
