We're currently supporting a long‑term project in Oxfordshire, and our client is looking to bring several Electrical Technicians on board. These roles are offered on a contract basis and form part of a multi‑year technical installation programme.
Location: Oxfordshire
Rate: £30 - £35 p/h (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
Duration: Initial 6‑month contract with strong long‑term potential
Key Requirements:
- ONC or City & Guilds Level 2 / GNVQ in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Strong experience in testing, fault‑finding and calibration of electrical systems
- Good understanding of electrical safety practices for LV and HV low‑power circuits and devices
- Hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning and fault‑finding of electrical systems, including:
- Control racks
- Interconnecting wiring
- Field equipment
- Cable containment systems
- Skilled in electrical wiring for panels and equipment enclosures
- Competent in light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks such as:
- Soldering
- Crimping
- Cable assembly
- Rack wiring
