What you will be doing as Manufacturing Process Engineer:

  • Drive Lean and CI initiatives across the shop floor (Kaizen, SMED, DMAIC, 5S, VSM)
  • Develop and optimise end-to-end processes in machining (CNC, milling, turning), welding/fabrication, and mechanical assembly
  • Introduce standardised work, visual management, and robust process controls
  • Implement Poka-Yoke and error-proofing solutions
  • Support NPI activities from prototype through to volume manufacture (DFM/DFA, build plans, SOPs)
  • Specify, commission, and validate new tooling, jigs, fixtures, equipment, and test systems
  • Lead process-focused cost reduction projects and value engineering activities
  • Prepare CapEx justifications including ROI/NPV/payback analysis
  • Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to deliver process improvements

What you will bring as Manufacturing Process Engineer:

  • Essential: HND/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related engineering discipline
  • Background in volume or batch production of engineered products
  • Strong Lean/CI problem-solving (RCA, 8D, DMAIC) with measured results
  • Understanding of fixtures, tooling, automated assembly, and test systems
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Desirable: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
  • Experience delivering CapEx projects or installing production equipment
  • Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC
