About the Manufacturing Engineer Role

Responsibilities
- Lead Continuous Improvement projects using Lean tools: Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D, Value Stream Mapping
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to meet quality standards
- Implement robust process controls and error-proofing solutions
- Support new product development from concept to launch
- Specify and validate equipment, tooling, and fixtures
- Drive cost reduction through process optimisation and value engineering
- Prepare CapEx reports with justification and cost analysis
- Contribute to capital investment planning and execution
Requirements
- HND/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial preferred)
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing (automotive or similar)
- Practical exposure to Lean methodologies and problem-solving tools
- Knowledge of automated assembly systems, tooling and test equipment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt advantageous
- Experience with CapEx projects beneficial
