Are you a Production Manager with experience leading teams in a manufacturing or assembly environment? This is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in North West London (Part of a Global Engineering Technology Group), where you will take ownership of shop floor operations and drive performance across a growing site.

The Production Manager Role

As a Production Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations across a mixed manual and automated production environment, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You will have 15 direct reports within a site of around 30-35 employees, working across machining, assembly and support functions while driving continuous improvement and team development.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager

  • Manage day-to-day production operations from order through to dispatch
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery and productivity KPIs
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Improve structure, consistency and accountability across production
  • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet demand
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain and commercial teams

Requirements for the Production Manager Role

  • Experience as a Production Manager, Production Lead or similar within manufacturing
  • Background within engineering, manufacturing or assembly environments
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
