The Production Manager Role
As a Production Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations across a mixed manual and automated production environment, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You will have 15 direct reports within a site of around 30-35 employees, working across machining, assembly and support functions while driving continuous improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager
- Manage day-to-day production operations from order through to dispatch
- Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery and productivity KPIs
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Improve structure, consistency and accountability across production
