We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy in the water sector who are looking to engage an experienced Senior Hydraulics Engineer on an initial 4.5-month contract.
Working within a specialist water team, you will provide technical expertise across water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supporting hydraulic design, modelling, analysis and optimisation activities from concept through to delivery.
Key Experience Required:- Strong background within the UK water and wastewater sector
- Hydraulic modelling and network flow analysis experience
- Surge analysis / water hammer studies
- HADES experience
- Thermofluids knowledge
- Understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations
- Ability to produce technical calculations, reports and engineering deliverables
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Previous consultancy experience desirable
- Deliver hydraulic modelling and analysis activities
- Support the design and optimisation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Produce technical reports, specifications and calculations
- Work closely with Civil and MEICA teams
- Support construction and commissioning activities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver effective engineering solutions
- Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

- Hours: 47.5 hours per week
