Draughtsman - 3-Month Contract (Woking, Surrey)
We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join our client's team on a 3-month contract, based onsite near Woking. Starting on 5th October 2026, you will play a key role in supporting ongoing construction projects during a period of staff absence. Working 40 hours per week, you will be central to delivering precise technical documentation that keeps our client's projects moving smoothly and on schedule. This contract offers Β£30 per hour.
Key Skills and Experience
AutoCAD (Expert Proficiency)
- You will produce detailed technical drawings and plans, ensuring accuracy and full alignment with industry standards and project specifications. Construction Industry Experience (5+ Years)
- Your background in construction will enable you to understand project requirements, structural considerations, and site constraints, translating them into clear, buildable drawings. Technical Drawing & Documentation
- You will create, update, and maintain quality construction documentation that supports engineers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Collaboration with Engineers & Project Managers
- You will work closely with key stakeholders, interpreting design intent, resolving drawing queries, and ensuring all documentation is coordinated. Communication & Stakeholder Liaison
- Regularly provide updates on drawing progress, respond to feedback, and ensure all parties have the information they need. Lift & Escalator Sector Experience (Beneficial)
- Any exposure to lift and escalator projects will be advantageous, helping you quickly understand sector-specific requirements.
