Role: Commissioning Engineer

Location: Hartlepool (North East)

Duration: Immediate start - minimum until end of August

Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35 TBC)

Overview: We are currently supporting a major engineering contractor delivering works on a high-profile energy infrastructure project in the North East. They are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support the final stages of delivery, specifically focusing on security systems and access control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of security and access control systems on a live project
  • Supporting installation teams and ensuring systems are fully operational
  • System testing, fault finding, and handover support
  • Working closely with site teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven background in commissioning security / access control systems
  • Strong practical experience in a site-based role
  • Ideally experience working with Gallagher access control systems
  • Ability to start immediately

Additional Info:

  • No specific tickets required
  • Site induction/training provided on Day 1 (~2 hours)
