Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Service Delivery Engineer to oversee a critical maintenance project on a high-pressure gas site in the New Forest. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient delivery of works to repair a leaking flange, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of the project from planning through to completion
- Coordinate site teams, including SCO personnel and technical specialists, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
- Oversee the repair of a leaking flange on a high-pressure gas installation
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and industry standards (e.g. IGEM)
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Act as the main point of contact between client, site teams, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure all documentation, reporting, and handover requirements are completed to a high standard
- Drive high standards of safety, quality, and performance on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Service Delivery Engineer within the gas, utilities, or energy sector
- Strong background working on high-pressure gas systems or transmission sites
- Demonstrable experience managing maintenance or repair works (e.g. flange repairs, pipeline works)
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations, SCO procedures, and permit-to-work systems
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead teams in high-risk environments
