Role Overview
Electrical Estimator required to support pricing on rail telecoms projects, focusing on new business tenders. Suited to someone hands-on who can produce accurate estimates without needing to be senior level. Whilst Rail experience is preferred an Estimator with M&E experience would be encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Prepare cost estimates for telecoms/electrical packages
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Produce take-offs and pricing for bids
- Obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations
- Electrical estimating experience (rail/telecoms preferred but not essential)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Strong commercial awareness and pricing ability
