We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a major onshore HVDC transmission project executed under an EPC framework. This role is responsible for ensuring that engineering, procurement, manufacturing, civil works, installation, and commissioning activities are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
You will act as a key interface between EPC contractors, suppliers, site teams, and project leadership, driving a consistent and proactive quality culture across all phases of project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and project‑specific quality procedures aligned with EPC contractual requirements.
- Oversee QA/QC activities covering converter stations, HV equipment, civil works, mechanical installations, and HVDC control & protection systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and applicable IEC/EN standards.
- Plan and conduct supplier and subcontractor audits to verify compliance with quality requirements, manufacturing standards, and site execution processes.
- Lead the Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) process, ensuring timely investigation, robust root cause analysis, effective corrective and preventive actions, and formal closure.
