I'm currently working on a really interesting opportunity with a client based in Dublin, and I thought it could be of interest. They're looking to bring in an experienced HSE Manager on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. While initially a contract role, there is strong potential for it to extend or develop into something longer-term due to ongoing business growth. This will be a Dublin-based, primarily office-focused role, with some initial site visits to get familiar with systems and operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the implementation of the company's EHS management systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams across all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management
  • Monitor compliance with Irish and UK EHS legislation and company standards
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring actions are effectively closed out
  • Drive incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and effective close-out of actions
  • Support onboarding processes, including induction compliance and training verification
  • Engage with site management, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture
  • Prepare and present EHS performance reports to senior management
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lead key safety campaigns
