We are seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work across highways, utilities, groundworks, reinforced concrete, drainage, and infrastructure schemes. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities ✅ Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilisation through to completion ✅ Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant, and materials ✅ Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards ✅ Prepare and implement site programmes and work schedules ✅ Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings ✅ Monitor project progress and report to senior management ✅ Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities ✅ Manage RAMS, permits, and project documentation ✅ Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve site issues efficiently ✅ Ensure works are completed in line with specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements Requirements Previous experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, highways, utilities, RC structures, or heavy civils Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teams Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong understanding of HSEQ standards and industry best practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Essential Qualifications SMSTS CSCS Card (Management Level) First Aid at Work Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Temporary Works Coordinator NRSWA Supervisor NEBOSH Certificate Experience working on highways, utilities, rail, or infrastructure frameworks What's On Offer?
