Start: October An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer (Low Voltage) to join a high-profile engineering programme.
The role will focus on the specification, design, procurement, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems , supporting the delivery of a complex engineering project within a highly regulated environment.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will provide electrical engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring LV systems are designed, procured, installed, and commissioned safely and in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Support the Low Voltage Electrical Engineering scope across a major capital equipment project.
Develop and review electrical specifications, load schedules, cable schedules, equipment datasheets, and procurement packages.
Provide technical input into the selection, specification, procurement, and integration of LV electrical systems and associated equipment.
Support the design and review of electrical distribution systems, switchboards, motor control centres (MCCs), transformers, UPS systems, and power infrastructure.
Support supplier engagement, tender evaluations, technical assessments, and design reviews.
Provide electrical engineering input throughout design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
