Site Managers Needed - Multiple Grid Infrastructure Projects (Starting Feb/March)
All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application. I'm working with a leading energy & utilities contractor who are looking for experienced Site Managers to support several upcoming grid and cabling projects across the UK.
If you have a background in HV cabling, substations, deep excavations or solar/BESS grid infrastructure, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent work into 2026 and beyond.
Project Locations & Start Dates
- Watford
Scope: 150m of 132kV cabling
Start: 2nd/3rd week of February
Duration: Until May - Enfield
Scope: Cabling works & deep excavations
Start: 9th February
Duration: Feb - April - East Cambridgeshire
Scope: Major long-term grid project
Start: 26th March
Duration: 18‑month contract - Norfolk
Scope: New transformer installation for a primary substation
Start: 2nd March
Duration: March - September
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing HV, cabling, substation, solar/BESS or grid civils projects
- Strong site leadership & HSE management
- SMSTS and First Aid required
- Comfortable managing subcontractors, quality, programme & safety
- UKPN Substation Entry (preferred)

£400 per day - CIS
