We’re now looking for a Junior Events Marketing Manager to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of high-impact marketing campaigns across a diverse portfolio of live events - from major conferences and awards programmes to bespoke receptions and summits.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Events Marketing Manager, you’ll help plan and execute multi-channel campaigns designed to drive delegate attendance, award entries, and overall event revenue. You’ll work closely with editorial, commercial, and design teams to create campaigns that are creative, data-driven, and results-focused.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver marketing plans that achieve attendance and entry targets, with a strong focus on commercial performance.
  • Manage multi-channel audience acquisition campaigns, including email, social media, and partnerships.
  • Create and schedule email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, ensuring effective audience segmentation and targeting.
  • Update and maintain event websites and registration pages (WordPress, basic HTML).
  • Support the delegate sales team with marketing assets and campaign collateral.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to deliver sponsorship obligations.
  • Assist with content creation for social media, newsletters, and event promotion (Canva and similar tools).
  • Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Stay informed on key market trends across business, politics, and media to enhance campaign relevance and audience engagement.

Skills and experience

  • Around 2 years’ experience in event marketing, ideally across multiple brands or event formats.
  • Hands-on experience in email marketing, CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot), and audience segmentation.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with attention to detail and brand tone.
  • Proficiency in WordPress (basic HTML a plus) and design tools such as Canva.
  • Confident with Excel and campaign performance reporting.
  • Collaborative, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding events and experiences.
