About us At Progressive Media Investments, we tell stories about how the world is changing - for the people driving that change. Home to brands including the New Statesman and Press Gazette, we produce high-profile editorial and commercial events across politics, media, culture and business.
We’re looking for a Senior Event Executive to join our events team and help deliver a busy and varied portfolio of events across the year. Our schedule includes around 60 events annually, including:
- conferences
- political party fringe events
- networking breakfasts
While most events are based in London, we also deliver events across the UK and in New York. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering exceptional experiences for clients, sponsors and delegates.
You’ll be responsible for:
- managing your own allocated events from start to finish
- supporting on-site event delivery across the wider events calendar
- researching venues and event suppliers
- managing budgets and reporting figures weekly to the Head of Events
- providing regular project updates and escalating any concerns where appropriate
- working closely with marketing and production teams to deliver successful events.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated previous experience in events, typically gained over around 2 or more years, and has a genuine passion for events.
