Progressive Judaism is seeking an exceptional HR Administrator - Maternity Cover, part-time.
This is a trusted and varied role at the heart of a values-led organisation. The role involves someone who will work alongside our Director of People and play a vital role in delivering a responsive, high-quality HR service across the employee lifecycle.

The Role
- Deliver a smooth an engaging onboarding experience that enables new employees to feel welcome, informed and supported from day one.
- Ensure all employment documentation, systems access and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Support manager and employees through probation processes, ensuring reviews are completed consistently and on time.
- Support employee lifecycle processes by ensuring contractual changes, transfers and leavers are administered efficiently and accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely payroll administration to support the efficient payment of employees.
- Maintain accurate records relating to annual leave, family leave and sickness absence.
- Support MPJ's safeguarding responsibilities by ensuring DBS processes are completed accurately and promptly.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture where colleagues feel supported, recognised and valued.
About You
- 1-2 years HR experience
- Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and professional approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
