Role Overview
Progressive ID (part of the Reflex Group) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Commercial & Technical Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who is keen to learn, has an enquiring mind, and enjoys working with customers. You will receive full training to develop your technical knowledge and commercial awareness across our product range.
During your training period, you will work closely with experienced team members to learn how to respond to customer queries, understand product specifications, support order processing, and provide excellent customer service. Over time, you will become one of the key points of contact for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities (with Training & Support)
- Learn to provide technical and commercial support to customers via telephone and email.
- Assist with handling customer enquiries, escalating more complex issues when required.
- Support the preparation of pricing and quotations under guidance from senior team members.
- Build an understanding of customer needs and help identify suitable product solutions.
- Process customer orders accurately, supporting On Time In Full (OTIF) performance.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Develop strong, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
