One of my clients is looking for a Test & Analysis Engineer. They are dedicated to engineering excellence and innovation. The team tackles complex challenges to deliver cutting-edge solutions in the nuclear industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test & Analysis Engineer to join the team.
Purpose:
- To lead the analytical element of commissioning activities.
- Organise and manage resources to conduct physical testing, to observe, collate & analyse data.
- To use theoretical knowledge and/or experience of material science and test equipment to effectively interpret data.
- Prepare documents and reports, recommendations for approval within defined time, cost and quality standards set by the company.
- Execution of technically compliant deliverables in accordance with program KPIs.
- Capable of leading and aligning a multi-discipline team to deliver the appropriate solution.
- Provide Engineering Support to commissioning and testing process.
- To work flexibly to undertake a variety of analysis/commissioning tasks associated with the design & test of high integrity mechanical plant and systems.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Material Science.
- Experienced document author.
- Working knowledge of test equipment and testing procedures.
- Engineering degree.
- Ideally minimum of 5 years continuous and relevant experience since graduation.
- Familiar with ASME VIII & PED.
- Familiar with Finite element analysis (Ansys Workbench).
- Familiar with MathCad.
- Familiar with LabVIEW, not essential.
- Working knowledge of Risk Assessments.
- Nuclear industry experience, not essential.
- Broad knowledge comprising static, thermal, dynamic, non-linear design and the application to test data.
