As SOV Commissioning Manager, you will be based offshore and report to the Commissioning Project Manager. You will take ownership of all commissioning activities on the Service Operation Vessel (SOV), ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage teams in a dynamic offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all offshore commissioning activities on the SOV.
- Prepare daily status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with contractors and installation teams for smooth transition from installation to commissioning.
- Supervise and lead offshore teams, ensuring effective handovers between rotations.
- Support energisation and test run preparation, including documentation.
- Maintain strict compliance with EHS standards and quality requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Manage marine operations and customer updates.
- Drive resolution of technical issues and escalate where necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven commissioning experience in electrical systems.
- High Voltage (HV) experience and authorisation (AP/SAP).
- Electrical project management experience.
- Mandatory Certifications: FUET or BOSIET, GWO Working & Rescue at Height, GWO - 5 Basic Elements, Valid Industry Medical.
