We're looking for one exceptional full-time Online Fitness Coach to join our expanding team and focus on what matters most, delivering life-changing coaching to our clients. If you're passionate about helping people, love coaching and want to build a long-term career without the pressure of constantly finding your own clients, we'd love to hear from you.

About Progressive Coaching: Progressive Coaching is an online fitness coaching business founded in 2022. We specialise in helping LGBTQ+ clients build confidence through fitness, nutrition and sustainable lifestyle change. Our client base has grown almost entirely through referrals and word of mouth, and today we support more than 150 clients across the UK, US, Europe and Australia. Our mission is simple: To deliver exceptional coaching in an inclusive environment where every client feels supported, understood and empowered to become the healthiest, strongest and most confident version of themselves.

Our Coaching Philosophy: Everything we do is built around our TSB4 Method:

  • Tone – Reduce body fat while building a lean, athletic physique.
  • Sculpt – Create shape and definition through intelligent training and nutrition.
  • Build – Develop muscle, improve proportions and create a physique clients feel proud of.
  • Forever – Build sustainable habits that allow clients to maintain their results for life.

Above everything else, we believe in Progress Over Perfection. We coach real people with busy careers and busy lives. Our goal isn't to create perfect routines, it's to create lasting change through consistency, education and accountability.

Who you'll be coaching: Our clients are typically professionals who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community and want to improve both their physique and their confidence. Common goals include:

  • Building a lean, toned physique
  • Increasing muscle and improving body proportions
  • Feeling confident taking their top off on holiday or at Pride
  • Improving their relationship with food and training
  • Creating healthy habits that fit around demanding careers
  • Building confidence after major life changes such as a breakup or career transition

While aesthetics often bring people to us, confidence is usually the biggest transformation they experience.

The Role: You'll be responsible for managing your own client base while delivering an outstanding coaching experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Daily WhatsApp coaching and accountability
  • Weekly client check-ins
  • Training programme design
  • Nutrition coaching
  • Mindset and behaviour change coaching
  • Client video calls
  • Photoshoot preparation
  • Community engagement
  • Weekly team meetings
  • Supporting clients through every stage of their journey

Who we're looking for: We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping people succeed. You should:

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have completed your own fitness journey and understand what lasting change requires
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Speak fluent English
  • Be highly organised
  • Enjoy building strong relationships with clients
  • Be proactive, dependable and solution-focused
  • Be comfortable coaching through WhatsApp and video

Previous coaching experience is beneficial but not essential. You'll thrive here if:

  • You genuinely care about changing lives.
  • You enjoy coaching more than marketing.
  • You take ownership and solve problems.
  • You communicate well and build trust quickly.
  • You're coachable and always looking to improve.
  • You're excited to be part of a growing business.

This role probably isn't for you if:

  • You see coaching as simply writing meal plans and gym programmes.
  • You're slow to respond or struggle to stay organised.
  • You avoid difficult conversations.
  • You're resistant to feedback.
  • You're looking for an easy, low-responsibility role.

What successful coaching at Progressive Coaching looks like: Successful coaches at Progressive Coaching:

Why join Progressive Coaching: This is an opportunity to become part of something much bigger than a typical online coaching role. We provide:

  • A steady flow of coaching clients, no need to generate your own leads
  • Full remote flexibility
  • Career progression within a rapidly growing business
  • Weekly coach development and mentoring
  • A supportive, ambitious team culture
  • In-person meetups and events throughout the year
  • The opportunity to progress into senior coaching and leadership roles

Hours & Pay: β€’ Full-time, self-employed position β€’ Fully remote β€’ Clients primarily based in the US, with additional clients across the UK, Europe and Australia β€’ Starting pay of Β£40 per active client, per month, with regular progression as your responsibilities and experience grow β€’ Expected client base of approximately 50–100 active clients within your first 6–12 months, depending on business growth and performance.

Progressive Coaching is proud to be an equal opportunity business. We welcome applications from suitably qualified coaches of all backgrounds and identities. Our clients come from a wide range of experiences, and we're committed to providing an inclusive, respectful and supportive coaching environment for everyone we work with.
