Your Role as a Team Leader within Family Assessment:
- Assess parents to safeguard and promote their children’s well-being.
- Support and mentor parents in developing essential parenting skills.
- Provide advice and guidance to help families build stability.
- Strive to develop the best support for families.
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Mentor new and less experienced staff.
- Lead the team throughout shifts.
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service.
- Act as a role model and mentor to staff, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the highest standards of care and ethical practice.
- Navigate challenges with resilience and adaptability.
Our Ideal Candidate should:
- Hold a Level 3 Children & Young People's Workforce qualification or Equivalent.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a team leader qualification.
- Have experience in leading a team.
- Prioritise the safety and well-being of children.
- Be nurturing and supportive, with strong mentoring skills.
- Be experienced in safeguarding and creating a stable environment.
- Be empathetic, understanding, and encouraging.
- Be self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced setting.
- Be able to apply transferable skills from relevant experience.
