Your Role as a Speech & Language Therapist within Learning Disabilities Services:

• Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy for service users with a range of communication and swallowing needs.
• Develop person-centred care plans in collaboration with the Therapeutic Team.
• Deliver training to staff and support service users in achieving their communication goals.
• Maintain accurate records in line with professional standards and regulations.

Our Ideal Candidate should:

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC.
• Have Strong knowledge of communication individuals with complex needs
• Knowledge swallowing difficulties and appropriate interventions, or a willing to work towards this once in post.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or physical disabilities is advantageous.
