Your Roleas a Support Worker within Family Assessment:

  • • Conductassessments to help families develop and maintain a safe andnurturing environment.
  • • Safeguardchildren and parents through continuous assessment andplanning.

Requirements

  • • Level3 Children & Young People’s Workforce Diploma is desirable, butnot essential—full training provided
  • • Experienceworking with families in a residential or supportedenvironment
  • • A genuine desire to help and support others, with a commitment to acareer in supporting families.
  • • Strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written, with good literacyskills.
  • • Patientand empathetic towards the complex issues and challenges familiesmay face.
  • • Prioritisesthe safety and well-being of children.
