Requirements
Your Role as a Social Work Team Manager: As a Social Work Team Manager for our family assessment centres, you will be responsible for ensuring that the social workers in our centres for your region are completing high quality and robust parenting assessments. You will be responsible for and oversee the assessment progress for all families across up to 3 family assessment centres, working closely with Centre Managers. Responsible for up to eight direct reports, with up to 31 active family assessments within your team, you will be familiar with the families and ensure that high-quality work is consistently delivered. With the support of dedicated Social Work Service Manager, you will have social work qualified line management and guidance. Bespoke training opportunities and ongoing investment in the social work service will provide an ideal environment to flourish and further develop your leadership and management skills.
Our Ideal Candidate should:
- Have Social work qualification.
- Be registered with social work England.
- Have minimum of 5 year’s post qualification experience working with children and families.
- Demonstrate experience of supporting and developing others.
- Management experience is desirable.
- Show willingness and ability to lead a social work team across a number of Family Assessment centres and travel throughout Progressive Care services as required.
- Experience and capability in preparing high quality parenting assessment reports for court.
- Be experienced in working with families to complete robust parenting assessments.
- Have experience in completing quality assurance tasks and providing constructive feedback.
