As a Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading your service and ensuring exceptional outcomes for young people.
Your Role as a Registered Manager (Children’s Services):
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
- Ensure children experience positive opportunities to build confidence and life skills.
- Create a culture where each child’s needs are recognised and met.
- Deliver a consistent child-centred approach.
- Drive service performance and maintain high standards of care.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans.
- Conduct staff supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
- Mentor and guide staff to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care.
- Support staff development and continuous improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with legislation, policies, and Ofsted requirements.
Requirements:
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards).
- At least two years’ experience in a residential childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, Ofsted standards, and regulations.
- Experience completing risk assessments and producing clear reports.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Passion for supporting young people with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, flexible approach with a focus on outcomes.
