We’re looking for caring, reliable, and positive people to join our residential childcare teams. You don’t need to be perfect – you just need the right values, a calm approach, and the ability to be there for young people when they need support most.

We currently have opportunities for:

  • Nights Only
  • Full Rota - covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Bank Staff – Working on an ad‑hoc basis.

What the role is really about:

This is more than just a job. It’s about helping young people feel safe, supported, and listened to. Some days that might mean helping with cooking a meal, supporting with routines, having a chat after a difficult day, encouraging them with education or activities, or simply being a consistent person they can rely on. You’ll be part of a supportive team creating a stable and caring home environment for children and young people aged 12–17. No two days are the same, but every day gives you the chance to make a positive impact.

Requirements:

  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Children Residential Childcare qualification (or Equivalent).
  • Experience working with children is an advantage.
  • Caring and approachable.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Able to build positive relationships.
  • Reliable and flexible.
  • Passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and independence.
  • Having a full UK driver’s licence is an advantage for this role.
  • Experience in care is helpful, but your attitude and values matter just as much.
